Will a blood test be clear of nicatine after 3 days for life insurance?

My new husband has stopped smoking and it has been 32 days, I would like to get life insurance on him as a non-smoker now. Will a blood test be clear of nicatine after 3 days for life insurance?
If the insured has been smoking in the past 12 months, the insured will be rated as Tobacco User.

What you can do is buy a small policy now and then do a policy change afterwards to see if he qualifies for a non-tobacco user rates and maybe increase the coverage too. Will a blood test be clear of nicatine after 3 days for life insurance?
If he doesn't smoke for 3 months, he should be good, but a Doctor could be far more help. Also have him drink lots of green tea and pomegranate juice, that can also help.
Most places are 90 days, gotta check with your ins co.
he is a smoker for 12 months from the date he quit for insurance purposes.

If you lie, it is fraud and the death benefit is contestible.
The only way to know is to try. My mother failed her nicotine test and hadnt touched a cigarette in 2 months. Plus if he starts back up, like some do, he could be caught for fraud.
