How soon after a positive pregnancy test are you ';in the clear';?

Does anyone have some good links for me? I just got a + test today!!!How soon after a positive pregnancy test are you ';in the clear';?
Your chance of miscarriage decreases after the 1st trimester (around 12-13 weeks) but you're never ';in the clear';. A pregnancy can be lost at any point until the baby is born. I lost one at almost 20 weeks and I had a friend who's baby was stillborn at full term (after 37 weeks). It is not likely that it would happen, but it does. Good luck though, and try not to worry, like I said, it certainly isn't common. How soon after a positive pregnancy test are you ';in the clear';?
Most say that after 12 weeks your chances drop dramatically, I have personally been pregnant 5 times. I've had 3 children I went into preterm labor with two of the three right around 20 and 24 weeks and still delivered the babies at 6lbs and 6lbs 10oz. My 3rd son was a flawless pregnancy, pregnancy 4(twins) and 5 were both miscarriages one at 11 weeks and one at 9. Again, pregnancy is very much determined by the mother so these are just examples of mine. Hope it gives you some comfort. Don't worry about it though, very few miscarry ever. Just focus on the happiness you're experiencing! Congrats!
with my first I found out at 4 weeks and told everyone and i had a totally healthy baby.

with my second i found out at 4.5 weeks and told alot of people and miscarried at 5.5 weeks. :(

With my third i found out around 4 weeks and im waiting to tell people and im almost 11 weeks, Its hard but i started leaking the news around 8 weeks. Just be careful and if you tell the news this early, just remember when your telling people, could you imagine telling them that your not prego anymore... its harder to share the news when you think of it that way. But they say that with each passing day it gets safer and safer and your pretty much outta the woods at 12 weeks. Good luck!
Chances for miscarriage drop significantly after 3 months.

However if you're young (under 40) and healthy, the chances are low to begin with. I told my family after 2 months and a doctor's visit.

not sure what you mean by in the clear...however if you mean risk of miscarriage ...wel the risk is considerably less after twelve weeks which is why alot of women wait to tell people...but these days the risk is lower than ever due to healthy lifestyles

what do you mean ';in the clear'; ?? that's you are defiantly pregnant or if there are miscarriage risks?? i don't get it... your supose to go to te obgyn as soon as you find out...
I am not really sure what you mean. As soon as I got my positive test i told everyone. Some women wait until there at least 12 weeks in case of a miscarriage or anything.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations!

But you are never in the clear until the baby is born, and even then you develop new worries!
Most peole find out they are pregnant at 4 weeks. The chances of miscarriage reduce greatly at 12 weeks.
