it was my first time smoking and i smoked maybe half of a blunt and i have to take a drug test for a job in 3 days....if i drink a lot of water how long will it take?How long does it take for marijiuana to clear out for a urine test?
Drinking water isn't going to do much, since THC sticks to fat cells instead of water cells. You can drink a concoction from a head shop, but some drug tests might test for those too. Your best bet is to pray. Good luck!How long does it take for marijiuana to clear out for a urine test?
With or without drinking a lot of fluids, most of the time, it stays in the blood stream for a few months. BUT it will still within your hair cells UNTIL they grow out.. so you may want to consider applying for a different job if they take a hair sample.

drink a lot of anything with antioxidants plus workout because the thc gets stored in your fat cells, drink stuff like cranberry juice grape juice green tea or apple juice and coffee might be good too, drink a whole lot and u might have a chance of passing, normally it takes a month for it to clear your system but thats without the excessive drinking of antioxidant fluids, hoped this HELPED GOOD LUCK!!!
You KNEW you had to take a urine drug test yet you smoked pot ANYWAY????? HOW TOTALLY STUPID of you!!! You DESERVE to flunk the test.... and probably WILL.... anyone will tell you that certain things WORKED for them... but what works for ONE may NOT always work for another.... My SON downed tons of those so called ';cleansers'; prior to a urine test (about 2 WEEKS before in fact) and FAILED the test....(this was SEVERAL years ago) .... Look I think Pot should be legalized--have thought this way since the early 60's, but it is still NOT legal and therefore, those who partake in it MUST pay the consequences....luckily those ';consequences'; are not as severe as they were in the 60's and 70's, but you can still lose your job or your FREEDOM if you fail a urine test....so I'd suggest you start being SMART and stop smoking it..AT LEAST if you know you have to take urine tests for your job OR freedom... Oh and if they should EVER test your hair, beware, it takes SEVERAL weeks for the trace elements of pot to get out of your hair folicles....
